Camp 8 is operated by ASA Professional Services, a Georgia-based company. We provide a football recruiting intelligence platform at fbintel-central.com and through our mobile application ("Camp 8," "the Platform," "we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account information: name, email address, password
• Athletic profile: position, height, weight, school, graduation year, state
• Performance stats: combine numbers, career statistics
• Social media handles and follower counts (entered voluntarily)
• Academic information: GPA, test scores (entered voluntarily)
• Recruiting information: offers received, camps attended
• Goals and preferences you set within the platform

Information collected automatically:

• Device type, operating system, browser type
• IP address and approximate location
• Pages visited and features used within the platform
• Session duration and interaction patterns

Information from third-party sources:

• Athletic statistics from MaxPreps (only when you provide your profile URL)
• If you sign in with Google or Apple, basic account information from those services

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize the Camp 8 platform experience
• To calculate your Camp 8 Athlete Rating and NIL Market Value score
• To power AI-driven features including the recruiting mentor, combine evaluator, and coach email writer
• To display your profile and stats within the platform
• To send you notifications about camps, recruiting news, and platform updates (with your consent)
• To improve our platform, fix bugs, and develop new features
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising targeting.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Camp 8 is intended for users aged 13 and older. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, you may not use Camp 8 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.

For users aged 13-17: We encourage parents and guardians to review and discuss this Privacy Policy with their children. Parents may contact us at privacy@fbintel-central.com to review, update, or delete their child's information.

5. Data Sharing

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use Supabase (database), Netlify (hosting), Anthropic (AI processing), and AWS (backend infrastructure). These providers process data only as necessary to provide services to Camp 8.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Safety: We may share information to prevent harm or protect the rights and safety of our users.
• Business transfer: If Camp 8 is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not share your athletic performance data, recruiting status, or personal profile with college coaches, scouts, or third-party recruiting services without your explicit consent.

6. AI and Data Processing

Camp 8 uses Anthropic's Claude AI to power conversational features including the NIL Evaluator, Combine Evaluator, AI Mentor, and Coach Email Writer. When you interact with these features, your messages and relevant profile data are sent to Anthropic's API for processing.

Anthropic's data handling practices are governed by their Privacy Policy at anthropic.com/privacy. We do not store your AI conversation history beyond your current session unless you explicitly save content to your profile.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Access: You can view all data we have about you through your dashboard profile page.
• Correction: You can update your profile information at any time through your dashboard settings.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@fbintel-central.com. We will process requests within 30 days.
• Data portability: You can request an export of your data by contacting us.
• Communications: You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or updating your notification settings in the dashboard.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure database access controls through Supabase Row Level Security, API authentication for all backend services, and regular security reviews.

No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

9. Cookies and Tracking

Camp 8 uses essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We do not participate in cross-site tracking.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Camp 8 after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
